It's been a while since I wrote one of these. Hi!
I've been in school for the last 3-4 weeks. It's my senior year as an LCAD animation student, and I'm busy as heck, but luckily I'm a master of scheduling to ensure that comics and animation get done on time (actually, more like scheduling apprentice, novice, padawan, etc.).
Actually, that's where I'll have to let you know on one of my production worries. Over the summer and part of last semester, I had time to 1) animate 2) produce comic pages and 3) promote comic around. Now that I'm in probably the most work-heavy portion of my school career, my schedule has now slanted to 1) animate 2) produce comic pages and 3) work part-time. Basically,
I got no time to promote my comic anymore. That includes general promotion, replying to comments and drawing doodle responses and the like.
So basically, what I'm saying is that it will take me a while to reply to your comments and whatnot. But know that I DO read your comments, and I am so fortunate to have so many people reading Cans of Beans. You guys make my day, everyday. I'm going to continue to upload a page weekly, even if it kills me, because you guys deserve it.
On a happier note, Dude Brosmith is going to be in an animated film. I won't be animating him, but the amazing
Sunami56/FireHouseLight will be for her cartoon short, "Hot Spot." The animatic is hilarious and the pencil tests of Dude so far looks fantastic.
Have a great day everyone!
